Kenya Mission Trip

Kenya Mission Team
After we settled in, we were met with a very heartwarming welcome from the students at the Maasai Corner School. The joy these kids show with their joy and love for the lord is beyond impressive. After the welcome ceremony, we split into our groups and began working on the projects we set out to do. We built a cover over the playground, benches for the youth worship gazebo, hung a TV in the clinic and helped train and show the maintenance team how to work and do the tools. Scott worked on the power equipment and got them running again and explained the maintenance of the equipment. The other teams worked on science projects with the kids along with helping out in the classrooms. A highlight of the mission was Saturday we went into the village and shared the gospel with the villagers. We met our kids we sponsor and shared gifts with them along with chickens and goats that we purchased for them. This was a life changing experience, and we not only blessed them, but they also blessed us in many ways.
